Shasta Caverns, Crater Lake, Lassen

We said "hi" to these cow, they actually come closer to us and look at us, it's on HWY 97 on the way to Crater Lake.

This is the Crater Lake in Oregon that I wanted to visit for at least 10 years, and finally I made it and it's so pretty, that color is exactly that blue, all the pictures here are directly come out of the camera, no modification..

This is Lassen Volcanic mountain, lots snow in this August summer. Cool air, clean trees, clear waters, worth to visit in any time.

We made it finally...........the beautiful Crater Lake.

Lassen has many of this kind lake, this is Lake Helen, deep blue water still mixed with cold ice, snow, surrounded by tall green redwood trees, under the bright summer sun, it's like a picture..

Parking lot with snow....

Mt. Butte just another young volcanic mount growing tall.. shot while driving.

Shasta Caverns boat, take us to the other side, then the bus will take us another short ride to the cavern, lots stairs, about 300.......I will not make it 10 years later..

Huge Shasta Lake.........

Inside the Caverns... amazing site....

Stairs, Stairs, one place there's 57 stairs all together, if you can not make it, there's way to go out.

The Cathedral room inside the cave...

Mountain Shasta, shot this on the way to Crater Lake, HWY 97 is a beautiful route...

Also on hwy 97, "Grass Lake" covers HUGE area, lots water in the lake.

Lake Helen in Lassen. Water is COLD and CLEAR, I touched it.

Hot Rock in Lassen, it's been in this position for many, many years, don't think even 1000 of me can move it a bit..
I am on the way to Bumpass hill on Lassen park, dealing with snow in the hot August time, strange, but the snow is real and slippery, hard to walk.

The Bumpass Hill...reminds me of Yellow Stone Park.

Yellow Stone want-a-be? but much smaller scale, but the ground is as hot as Yellow Stone Park. All these area been names as "Cascade Range Volcanoes", covers Canada all the way to Lassen. Really enjoy this 3 day trip, a fun trip, you should go too.
